Kim Hyun Joong’s domestic violence case with his ex-girlfriend has just gotten a lot worse.
The SS501 frontman woke up today, July 31, to face glaring new evidence of his abuse towards former girlfriend, Ms. Choi, after she submitted text messages between the two to Korean media, dating back to May 2014, in her case against the 29-year-old singer.
While Kim’s defense had prior asserted that he did not use violence against Choi and that her miscarriage of Kim’s child was not caused by abuse, the latest evidence claims otherwise.
The submitted message exchanges include a picture of a positive pregnancy test, which implies that the boy band singer was aware of the pregnancy and latter miscarriage. The messages also show the star acknowledging to multiple counts of physical abuse after Choi expressed anger at him for sleeping with other people.
One disturbing message from Choi reads, "First you beat me multiple times after I found out you slept with [name redacted] and was an angry at you.. then you slept with a bar hostess.. then again I caught you sleeping with [name redacted] and then you beat me and left me bruised.. [Name redacted] also saw it all and watched you beat me.. that time only four days after I had the surgery because of your baby inside me." To all this Kim coldly responded, “Yes but there’s nothing more than that.”

Unfortunately for Kim, it doesn’t stop there. Other messages reveal his alleged vulgar abuse towards his ex with comments such as, "You pig, you just get pregnant at every given opportunity."
Domestic violence, and now verbal abuse and infidelity -- the evidence continues to stack up against Kim Hyun Joong, who is currently on leave for mandatory South Korean military service.
His legal reps have yet to deliver an official response to the fresh new evidence submitted to the courts. The case continues.
