Kim Hyun Joong celebrated a sell-out start to his Japan tour this week, with over 20,000 fans attending his Kobe and Saitama concerts.
Although just two days in, the Unlimited tour has already received rave reviews from the local media.
The singer, 26, spent two hours on stage, performing new songs from his best-selling Japanese album "Your Story", as well as old favourites.
Although not fluent in Japanese, Kim spent time trying to speak with fans, even jumping into the audience and running to the back rows of the arena.
The SS501 member also impressed concert-goers with his many talents, including playing the guitar during one song.
Kim has a busy year ahead of him, with numerous projects in the works.
"After the tour I plan to release a full album in Korea," he said recently. "I will also show you Kim Hyun Joong as actor in a drama. I have another plan to hold a world tour at the end of the year. I will also release a single album in Japan."
Until then, the Boys Over Flowers star will tour eight more cities in Japan, including Nagoya, Fukuoka and Osaka.
"Being in Japan is always very special," he says. "The number of fans who welcome me at the airport and give me their warm reception during my stay here is always so overwhelming. I always look forward to spend time with my fans here."
