Is Yeezy going K-pop?! A prominent member of rapper Kanye West’s creative team announced Monday, January 26, that they are planning to launch an entertainment company in South Korea.
Grammy Award winning producer Malik Yusef Jones, 43, confirmed that he has eyes set on South Korea's thriving music and film industry and will launch joint-stock company, 10-Jones, later this year.
The company will be divided into three branches -- brand, agency and entertainment branches -- with each division led by members of the Kanye West Creative Team.
West, who is married to reality star Kim Kardashian, won’t be at the helm of the company but will join the CEO of the newly-formed venture in some capacity. Whether it is creative or financial is yet to be announced.

Jones -- who has worked with the likes of West, Rihanna and Jay-Z -- aims to create collaborative synergies with his company and Korean idol stars, opening the way for more cross-continent collaborations.
West and Jones are no strangers to K-pop, having collaborated with JYJ in 2010 to produce and star on their single, "Ayyy Girl."
