Mother K-pop has conceived a new idol girl group. The finalists of Mnet’s idol rookie audition program Sixteen have emerged and been confirmed to debut as new girl group Twice under the JYP Entertainment label.
Nine final girl group stars were ultimately selected by JYP head honcho Park Jin Young and the line up consists of Jihyo, Nayeon, Jungyeon, Chaeyoung, Sana, Mina, Tzuyu, Dahyeon and Momo.
These nine starlets are set to greet the music world as fresh new girl group Twice sometime later this year when they debut.
Sixteen ran for five months on Mnet and saw the elimination of seven participants from a starting roster of 16.
