After working non-stop since his 2003 debut, JYJ's Park Yoochun has announced he will be going on hiatus for two-years to carry out his mandatory Korean military service.
The 28-year-old will finish up his promotional activities in July before entering the army on August 27 to serve as a public service worker.
A spokesman for the idol singer and actor announced today, June 1, "Park Yoochun will be enlisting in the army on August 27."
Park will will be the second JYJ member to head to the army following Kim Jaejoong, who began his service on March 31 and has been assigned to the 55th Infantry Division, serving until December 30, 2016.

There will still be a chance for fans to see the Girls Who Sees Smells star before his enlistment. On May 30 and 31 he will hold two fan meetings at Korea University.
