JYJ's Kim Junsu is receiving stellar reviews for his performance in Death Note the musical.

In Death Note -- a popular Japanese manga series created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata in 2003 -- 28-year-old Junsu plays genius detective L.

He stars in the show alongside musical icons Hong Kwang Ho, Jung Seon Ah, Park Hye Na and Kang Hong Seok.

Korea's media Star Daily News shared a review of the show yesterday saying, "Kim Junsu’s acting was not merely applaudable but electrifying... His portrayal of L was fulfilling and his line delivery and expressive abilities were astonishing."
