She only left Girls’ Generation on September 30, but former member Jessica Jung is already back on stage. The singer has given a surprise performance — in front of celebrities including Paris Hilton and boxer Manny Pacquiao — with hip-hop star Ja Rule.
The 25-year-old songstress sent social media into a spin last night, after revealing to fans that she had performed on stage with the American rapper at the November 23 Clash in Cotai II fight event in Macau.
Jung shared a few photos on her Weibo account last night, November 30 — one of them being a shot of herself holding a microphone alongside "Always on Time" performer Ja Rule. The post read, "Many thanks to Reggie Martin and the Venetian Macau for a wonderful time! Rocking it with Ja and watching Manny do his usual winning thing: simply awesome! [sic]"
Clash in Cotai II was a much-publicized boxing event, which was headlined by Manny Pacquiao and also saw China's Zou Shiming fight in a 12-round WBO flyweight world title elimination bout.
The surprise duet with Ja Rule is Jung’s first stage appearance since disbanding from Girls' Generation on September 30. She was removed from the group by SM Entertainment over accusations of being too focussed on her own fashion line, Blanc & Eclare, than her activities in the group.

But despite the career blip, the "I Got a Boy" singer recently told Marie Claire Hong Kong that she is keen to continue with her music career. "Within me there flows the blood of an entertainer, but also the blood of a fashion entrepreneur," she told the magazine. "I am currently working hard and my aim is to do well in both lines of work."
