Her 2014 departure from one of the biggest girl groups in the world was surrounded by controversy and rumours, but now that the dust has settled, former Girls' Generation star Jessica Jung says she couldn't be happier.
In a new interview, the 26-year-old singer and fashion designer says that life away from the pressure of being part of a world famous band has her in a very good place.
She tells the June issue of Korea's Beauty+ magazine, "I'm currently happy being able to live according to my own standards without being conscious of other people’s glances."
Jung is currently focussed on her Blanc & Eclaire fashion and accessories range and was excited to get back to her style roots in the effortless summertime pictorial.
The "I Got a Boy" star posed with minimal makeup for the magazine, going without eyeliner, false lashes and mascara to show off her natural beauty.

A Beauty+ visual director says of the outdoor photo session, "We thought Jessica must feel nervous as it’s her first shoot in some time, but she was the one actually taking care of the staff, so we were all very touched by that."
