He's going au naturale. Jang Keun Suk will show a softer side when he returns to the music scene in Japan next month.
In promotional photos for the new album, entitled "Nature Boy", the 25-year-old heathrob in shorts with his shirt buttons undone against a stone backdrop. In other shots for the CD, released May 29 in Japan, Jang is topless with feathers in his hair and pink streaks.
It was recently announced that there will be two versions of the album - standard and limited edition (which includes a bonus DVD). "Poison", "Indian Summer", "Eden" and "Nature Boy" are among the ten songs on the track list.
On May 28, he will join winners from his official Japanese fan club for a promotional event called Nature Boy Birthday Count Down, which will take place at the Zepp concert venue in Tokyo.
The "Prince of Asia" has long valued his fans in the Land of the Rising Sun, even learning Japanese before finding fame there.
"I began studying Japanese in Junior High," he has said. "I studied abroad in my third year of Junior High school and made friends with people from foreign countries. I befriended many Japanese and I learned some phrases from them."
