Humble and hard-working tears. Super Junior-M’s Henry Lau broke down during an emotional instalment of tvN’s Always Cantare 2.

The boy band singer became so wound up with frustration from his futile efforts that he began crying. “I actually had a traumatic experience when I was young. My parents sent me to a strict tutor's house to practice for a few months and was yelled at a lot during that time,” said Henry, revealing the source of his pain.

Always Cantare 2 is a reality show that follows the struggles and challenges of amateur hopefuls training to play in classical music orchestra.

Meanwhile, during the episode Henry denied his fans’ praise that he is a genius saying, “People say I’m a genius, but it is definitely not the case. I put in a lot of hard work when I was young. I don’t believe geniuses really exist. I still have a long way to go."
