Han Hye Jin is keeping things simple when she ties the knot with Swansea FC soccer player Ki Sung Yueng in July. The 31-year-old actress has spoken out about her low-key plans after rumors began to spread that the couple were planning an over the top ceremony in Gangnam, Seoul.
"We downsized the wedding to make it simple," the Be Strong, Geum Soon! star wrote on Twitter. "We won't be having a traditional ceremony with the in-laws and we won't be exchanging wedding gifts. We are borrowing our wedding attire and plan to exchange couple rings. The large hall [in Gangnam] was only booked to accommodate the number of people attending. The ceremony is nowhere near luxurious."
Han and Ki, 24, will say their "I do's" on July 1 at the five-star Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel. Dream Church pastor Kim Joshua will officiate the ceremony and "Love is All the Same" singer Yangpa will sing.
"We haven't held a wedding photoshoot and we are still planning our honeymoon," Han adds of the humble festivities. "My groom will return to his team [in Wales, UK] for training after the wedding. I'll join him when I complete the filming for When a Man Loves and Healing Camp in late July."
Han's agency, Namoo Actors, add: "She will travel back and forth between Britain and Korea while continuing her career after the marriage."
