As part of their much-anticipated summer comeback, Girls' Generation have signed a deal to launch their first reality show in eight years!
A spokesperson for the girl group announced today, June 18, "Girls’ Generation will feature in OnStyle reality programming this July."
The program, produced bythe CJ E&M, will focus on fashion and beauty while taking a look inside the girls' lifestyles as well as their favourite places to hang out.
It will be the first time since their 2007 debut that the girls will feature as a group in a reality show series. Adds the spokesman, "Members have appeared in reality shows as sub-units or on their own and it’s been a long time since we’ve been able to get all eight members together in a single program."
The group also announced today that they will be shooting a special appearance on a forthcoming episode of SBS' Running Man -- their first time on the show in four years.
OnStyle have previously shown reality programming for the girls in shows such as The TaeTiSeo, starring the Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun sub-unit, as well as Jessica & Krystal which featured former member Jessica Jung and her sister Krystal from girl group f(x).
The news of the reality show coincides directly with the girls’ imminent comeback in July and will gives fans an even bigger dose of SNSD goodness to look forward to.
