Girls' Generation Planning 2014 Comeback: Details

It's almost been a year since Girls' Generation returned to the Korean charts with their single "I Got a Boy" but the girls are finally planning round two.

A spokesman Girls' Generation confirms to IdolWow! that the group is current preparing a comeback single for next year.

Says a rep: "Girls' Generation are busy working on their comeback. It will be something quite different to what you've seen before."

SM Entertainment refuse to reveal more details, but the rep adds: "The comeback will be sooner rather than later... Early 2013."

Despite few activities in Korea, Girls' Generation have been extremely busy in 2013. Their Girls & Peace tour took them around most of the world and their third Japanese album, titled "Love & Peace", will be released on December 10.

The girls were also recently praised by TIME, who listed the "I Got a Boy" on their Top 10 Songs of 2013 list. The song also took home the Video of the Year award at the 2013 YouTube Awards in November.
