Coming to a screen near you? Former Girls' Generation star Jessica Jung is looking to acting for her next career venture.

During an event in Hong Kong on Wednesday, January 28, the 25-year-old girl revealed she has ambitions to work in drama and movie roles.

Jessica - who is currently also working on her own fashion label Blanc & Eclare - told reporters gathered at a Lane Crawford department store for a Yves Saint Laurent Beauty promotional event, "I’ve been looking for drama and film scenarios. I’ve also been practicing singing when I have time as well.”

The idol star was asked about any Hong Kong-based actors she wished to work with, to which she responded, "If the opportunity comes, I would like to act with Nicholas Tse."

Reporters also quizzed the singer about how she felt being in Hong Kong at the same time as Girls' Generation (who are currently in the country for promo). "Oh, I didn't know about that," she replied.

Meanwhile, Jung recently made headlines when an Instagram video of her working in a music studio with Michael Jackson's brother and Jackson 5 member Jermaine Jackson created hot speculation about her potential comeback as a solo artist.

Songstress, actress, business woman... The perfect triple threat!
