G-Dragon made a splash at Paris Courure Fashion Week this morning, July 7, when he made a star appearance at Chanel's main event among some of the biggest names in film and music.
The Big Bang star and fashion icon took part in the brand's Haute Couture show and appeared alongside singer Rita Ora at the Grand Palais.
Wearing a slick black tuxedo with a satin rose brooch on the lapel, the 26-year-old -- who is still rocking his orange hair -- looked suave and sophisticated as he took his place at one of the roulette tables dotted around the themed show space.
GD sat next to Ora, 24, and the pair appeared close as they chatted and laughed alongside the likes of Julianne More, Kristen Stewart and Kendall Jenner, who walked in the show itself.
It was an unusual approach to the usual type of runway shows seen at various fashion weeks. Creative director Karl Lagerfeld set the room up as a casino and dressed up his favorite stars and had them sit at roulette tables around the room as the models walked around them.
Before the presentation, G-Dragon shared a number of backstage snaps on his Instagram account, including one shot where he's posing like James Bond.
His "date" for the event, Rita Ora, pulled out all the stops in a daring silver tuxedo jacket and a matching skirt, showing plenty of skin with her thigh-high pencil skirt split as she joined the style elite.
Lagerfeld has often looked to K-pop's finest for fashion inspiration. He recently called 2NE1's CL one of his muses and once said of G-Dragon, "His style is like no one else in the world. He is an innovator and I'm inspired by him."
Today's Chanel collection was full of chic and gorgeous evening wear, all in a sophisticated colour palette of black and metallics, with intricately embellished gowns in luxe fabrics making their way down the runway.

G-Dragon flew in to Paris especially for the occasion and is expected to shortly return to Seoul where he will continue with promotions for Big Bang's latest singles, "Sober" and "If You."
