Former Super Junior member Han Geng has been cast in the upcoming Transformers 4 blockbuster movie.
Director Michael Bay revealed on his website Sunday, July 14, that the 29-year-old Chinese actor had been cast for his production.
Bay wrote: "He's one of Asia's top stars in the worlds of music, television and movies and has become one of the most influential entertainers in China. Now he'll also be known for Transformers 4. Welcome Han Geng to the cast of Transformers 4!"
Han Geng’s co-stars will include Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz, as well as Chinese actress Li Bingbing, star of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan.

China will play a significant role in the film, with the country "effectively being a character" in the blockbuster sequel, a source has said. Bay has indicated intentions to cast more Chinese actors and actresses.
Han Geng originally debuted in 2005 as the only Chinese member of Super Junior, but left in 2009 to pursue a solo career in China. At the time of leaving he was involved legal scuffle with SM Entertainment which was eventually settled by mutual agreement.
Filming starts later this summer and the film is due to his cinemas worldwide on June 27, 2014.
