Fans were given the first glimpse of Jaejoong's long awaited solo material today, with the first teaser hitting the web to much excitement.

The one-minute clip sees the 26-year-old JYJ star taking a departure from his usual style and embracing a rockier sound and rougher vocals.

A C-Jes Entertainment rep for the singer the January 17 album release to IdolWow! via statement, adding: "He will be putting on a special concert on January 26 and 27 to coincide with his birthday celebrations."

The Your, My, Mine showcases are already in pre-production and the former TVXQ member isn't showing any sign of nerves. He says: "Through my concert, I hope that it will be a chance for my fans to get in touch with a different side of me."

Jaejoong admits to writing most of the material on the LP, sharing experiences from his life in the lyrics. "As I was writing the lyrics for this album, I thought about all of the stories I wanted to tell," he adds. "It's everything that has made me happy."
