Junhyung of boy band Beast is one step closer to his solo debut after unveiling a short teaser trailer for his first music video.
Titled "Flower" -- also the album name -- the 30-second video takes viewers on a journey of weird, with a plethora of mysterious images flashing across the screen.
The bizarre scenes include a military Hummer vehicle dragging a large rectangular box along a road, a girl dropping a severed head (presumably of Junhyung), and flower petals and butterfly wings burning.
The 23-year-old idol himself appears only very briefly in the video -- at one point lying in what looks like a coffin surrounded by flowers!
"People know me as a member of Beast, so I wanted to use this opportunity [of a solo album] to show a different side of myself," he has said. "I want to get people talking."

What does it all mean? The wait to find out won't be long as the full video will rather appropriately be released on Friday, December 13.
The upcoming album will feature tracks collaborative works with the likes of label-mate G.NA and band-mate Yoseob.
