It was almost over as quickly as it began. Just six months after they started dating, Girls' Generation singer Yuri and baseball player Oh Seung Hwan called it quits.
SM Entertainment refused to release details behind the split when it was announced on Thursday, October 15, but an insider tells IdolWow! that the pair simply "fell out of lust."
Reveals the source, "They got off to a good start and really enjoyed getting to know each other, but as time went by they realised they didn't have much in common."
The pal adds that the SNSD star, 25, and the Hanshin Tigers pitcher, 32, "took longer to learn about each other because they were mostly apart." (Him in Japan, her in Korea).
Rumors of a split first began to circulate earlier this week before a spokesperson at SM Entertainment revealed, "It is true that Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan have broken up."

The pair -- who shared a seven-year age difference -- first announced they were dating back in April and met during a night out with mutual friends.
