Convicted rapper E-Sens has been charged with possession of marijuana — again.
Gyeonggi province Police Department reported last night, November 5, that the 27-year-old raper, along with 27 other individuals, comprising mostly of students, have been remanded for purchasing marijuana from an illegal drugs ring that purchased and circulated 500g of marijuana from a foreign website.
While most of the charged were first time offenders, it is not the former Supreme Team performer's first drugs-related offense.
In September 2011, the rapper was previously sentenced to 14 months in prison and 2 years probation after being caught for smoking marijuana.
At the time, a representative for E-Sense said: "While E-Sens did smoke pot, he did not engage any other musicians or agency employees with him… First, he will have to be penalized, but we will support him in the future when he returns."
He later admitted in a press conference: "At first I was just curious about marijuana but later because of impulsive and wrong judgments, continued to break the law [by using]."
