While many idols seem to make it a daily goal to fill their social networking accounts with photos of themselves, Big Bang's T.O.P says he doesn’t understand the selfie craze.
"I don’t get why people are so obsessed with taking their own selfies," the rapper said at Horim Art Center in Sinsa, Seoul, on June 4.
He further explained: "Rather than promoting myself online, I would just focus on things of the real world."
The idol star, also known in the film world by his real name Choi Seung Hyun, was present at the center to promote the exhibition 1st Pictorial Records: From TOP, which showcases artistic photos from sell-out first photo book.
The images were taken in December during a trip New York City by famed Korean photographer Hong Jang Hyun.
"I wanted to capture and record myself as a 27-year-old man," T.O.P explains about the project.

While fellow Big Bang members have focused on their solo musical projects, T.O.P has focused on expanding his career into acting. He first appeared in 2009’s hit drama Iris and is slated to appear in the upcoming The War of Flower sequel.
