Big Bang's Seungri has spoken out for the first time about his 2012 sex scandal during a live appearance on SBS’ talk show, Incarnation, last night, August 27.
The 22-year-old revealed on the episode that the scandal -- which saw the singer the victim of a kiss-and-tell sting in a Japanese tabloid -- changed his life. "It was the very first time that an idol was involved in a scandal like that," he revealed. "Since it was my first scandal and was so big, I was a bit scared and shocked. The magazine in which I was published is very famous. They don't even bother to talk about anyone who isn't famous."
The magazine claimed that Seungri had violent sexual intercourse with a girl he had just met. "He was arrogant," the anonymous girl told the publication.
"The story was like it was knocking on the door for me to become an adult," he explained. "To be honest, I was told about me being in the magazine a week beforehand. Even if it was not published on the internet, it was printed at a factory. So I couldn't stop it even if I knew."
He added: "I came on this show because I thought I should let the public know what happened during the scandal."
During the show the popular star -- who released album "Let's Talk About Love" earlier this month -- also spoke about his ways of starting and ending relationships, revealing that he's bold to approach girls directly but not comfortable with break ups. "I tend to do it over the phone," he said.
