Don't call them boys anymore.
B1A4 have revealed their manly sides in a new shoot for fashion magazine, L’Officiel Hommes Korea.
The heartthrobs, who have an average of 20, went for a maturer look for the January issue of the popular style bible. Dressed in sharp suits and tough leather jackets, they looked a world away from the cuter image fans are familiar with.
B1A4, which stands for "be the one, all for one", debuted in 2011 and have since become one of the popular new acts. But band member JinYoung, 21, admits that they don't want to just be seen as young faces.
"Because of our fresh and cute image during our debut days, I think many people already have a biased look about B1A4," 21-year-old group leader JinYoung has said. "[We're] aiming for the sweet-spot [image] of a boys turning into men."
Baro, 20, jokes that he's the only one of the five that could ever have a genuine bad boy image. "There are many people who already think I’m a bad boy because my blood type is B," he says. "However, I’m a very sensitive and considerate man."
The band, who are all single, will spend January preparing for their comeback the following month, which will see them pit up against hip-hop group B.A.P.
May the best men win!
