Singer Ailee has hired a US lawyer to take legal action against the unauthorised online leak of pre-debut nude photos.
The 24-year-old idol's agency YMC Entertainment tells IdolWow! that it has "taken the matter into its own hands" and hired a lawyer in the US to recover the leaked images and stop their circulation.
The songstress and her agency are accusing Ailee’s ex-boyfriend and tabloid site Allkpop's vice president Daniel Lee for releasing the photos on its site, November 10. While Ailee is a South Korea-based artist, she is still a citizen of the US and holds a passport and social security number in the country.
A spokesperson from her agency tells IdolWow!: "Ailee is suffering tremendous mental stress over this incident. However she is determined to transcend it though her music... [however] up until the end of November she will busily stick to her scheduled plans."
