Put your hands up, Japan! 2PM kicked off their huge Legend of 2PM arena tour with a bang on January 11.

The boys flew flawlessly through a packed two hours of song, dance and beautiful stage theatrics at the Fukuoka Marine Messe venue.

After revving fans up with a dramatic opening video, Jun.K, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Chansung, Nichkhun and Junho went straight in to performances of their Japanese hits "Masquerade" and Beautiful", as well as tracks from their new album, "Legend of 2PM".

And not content with covering all of their big hits, the talented boys also each performed several solo tracks.

Birthday boy Jun.K, who turns 24 on January 15, received a surprise from his bandmates - a big chorus of "Happy Birthday".

The arena tour will include thirteen concerts, to be held at six different locations around Japan with a total audience of over 150,000.

The concert also featured a surprise birthday party for Jun.K, whose birthday was drawing near. Together with the packed venue, the members of 2PM led a chorus of “Happy Birthday”.

After the gig, the excited band said in a statement: "With our second arena tour just the beginning, we couldn't sleep last night because of the excitement. It was a memorable time being able to greet our fans again with our performances and we will put our best effort in for our remaining dates, too. Thank you for your love and support."

The tour runs for 13 dates at six locations, including Nagoya, Tokyo, Sapporo and Osaka and will see a total of over 150,000 ticket sales for the group.

Last week, 2PM  were awarded with the title of 2012 Best Concerts by Oricon (Japan's equivalent of Billboard), alongside BIGBANG.

"They all have amazing bodies and are skilful in dancing and singing," they wrote. "Even though some members were injured, they still performed a noteworthy performance."

We couldn't agree more!
