Kwanghee and Jewelry’s Yewon are to lend their voices to the Paramount animated movie, Gladiators of Rome, it was announced today.
A spokesperson at Paramount confirms to IdolWow! that the pair were chosen for the Korean dub after auditioning last year and have already finished their recording sessions.
“I saw the movie and fell in love with the cast of characters,” ZE:A funny man Kwanghee, 24, says of the 3D film. “I really like the character, Timo, and I’m so happy I got to play him.”
Adds Ye Won, 23, who plays sexy-but-tough trainer Diana: “I’m excited to hear how my voice sounds from the big screen.”
The pair previously worked together on SBS Radio’s Young Street show in 2011.
Gladiators of Rome, which was written by the same team behind the first two Ice Age movies, tells the story of lazy gladiator Timo, who must win a contest in the Colosseum to get the hand of the girl he’s in love with.
Fans can see their voices come to life when the film hits Korean cinemas, titled Gladiator: The Birth of a Lazy Hero, in February. The English release will be out in April.
