Fans have slammed a TV show in Japan for bombarding TVXQ with questions about Jonghyun‘s death during a LIVE broadcast.
Changmin and Yunho — who both wore black — appeared on an episode of the popular Sukkiri morning news show today, December 19, and while they were only there to promote their music, MC’s for the show couldn’t help but ask about the SHINee singer’s tragic death.
The host of the Nippon TV show quickly changed the subject during an interview and asked, “We’ve heard about the breaking news about your colleague Jonghyun.”
Clearly struggling to remain composed, Yunho quietly responded, “My feelings are so flustered. I can’t believe it. We plan to make a visit [to his wake in Seoul] straight after this broadcast.”
Changmin added, “He was like a brother to me and was the best artist. I can’t even use words to describe…”
Fans on Twitter were disappointed that the show brought up such a sensitive subject during a promotional broadcast.
“They clearly weren’t ready to talk about it,” wrote one. “I think it wasn’t the right place to bring up the subject,” added another.
