As Chuseok — the Korean Thanksgiving festival that lasts three days and begins on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar — is upon us (September 19-22) some of the world’s biggest idols and Korean celebrities have started sending out their love and greetings to fans all over. Here’s a roundup:
— Ballad singer K.Will, 31, resurfaced from some down time in a bright hanbok and tweeted: “Hi everyone it’s K.Will and I’m in a hanbok~!^^ I hope you have an enjoyable thanksgiving with your families!”
— Yuri, 23, from Girls’ Generation sent out a “Happy Chuseok” and adorable poses her Instagram account, wearing an equally adorable baby pink and blue traditional hanbok.
— Rock band FT Island sent out a video message (see below!) wishing all a great Chuseok with their families by “having lots of great food and making wishes under the full moon”. It was also a convenient moment to remind fans that their sixth anniversary album will be out soon.
— Seven-months pregnant Wonder Girls leader Sunye covered her bump in full hanbok glory as she posed with her husband James Park and their fluffy white pet dog, Commong. “Have a happy holiday~~~,” she tweeted. “I hope you have a Chuseok filled with many good memories! ^^.”
— Super Junior’s Shindong chose to celebrate the festivities with jam, butter and croissants, as he posted a photo of his rather untraditional Chuseok breakfast with a “Good morning” greeting to his fans.

While many idols are given time over over the holiday period, not everyone gets time off. Girls’ Generation will be promoting their new single in Japan, while Big Bang are currently travelling to Singapore to perform at the F1 Grand Prix this weekend.
