MBLAQ’s G.O and Rainbow’s Woori are set to to become husband and wife on the second season of popular drama, Couples Clinic: Love and War.
A rep for the series confirms that the pair will appear in the second of a two-part “idol special”, which will see the 25-year-olds play a young newlywed couple.
“[Their] trials and tribulations will differ from the usual heavier themes of the production such as divorce and fidelity,” says the KBS 2TV spokesman. “It will appeal more to the viewer couples in their twenties and thirties.”
Naturally, the chemistry between the MBLAQ vocalist and talented Rainbow performer is highly anticipated. Woori’s publicist says: “They already have strong personal rapport off-screen… the chemistry should work for acting. It’s looking to be an enjoyable shoot.”
The first half of the Love and War 2 “idol special” aired last month and stared ZE:A’s Dongjun, Jewelry’s Kim Yewon and 4minute’s Nam Jihyun. G.O and Woori’s episode scheduled to run on April 24.
