Big Bang’s G-Dragon is branching out in his artistic endeavors.
Agency YG Entertainment announced that the 26-year-old idol superstar will hold an art exhibition together with 12 other contemporary artists at the Seoul Museum of Art from June 9 to August 23.
Titled “Peaceminusone: Beyond the Stage” and featuring over 200 art works ranging from installation art to sculptures to photography, the exhibition is the culmination of a year-long effort between the singer and the fellow exhibiting artists who hail from all over the world. The collection will contain pieces from G-Dragon’s very own personal collections and will move on to neighboring Shanghai and Singapore.
Says a spokesman, “The exhibition aims to blur the boundaries between genres by expressing, in the language of modern art, the cultural visions of G-Dragon, who himself is a pioneer of mainstream culture.
