It’s his time to shine. TVXQ’s Yunho is preparing to release his first ever solo music in Japan.
A music video teaser for the 29-year-old singer’s first, Japan-only, single tilted “Burning Down” was released today by record label, Avex.
The 30-second clip shows off the TVXQ stud’s smooth vocals and dazzling dance skills while stirring hot anticipation for his imminent solo debut.
“Burning Down” is one of many songs in the idol star’s Japan solo debut album titled, “U Know Y”, which is set for release on July 8.
The album will feature two new singles, including the first single and “Tattoos & High Heels,” as well as three three songs (“BANG!,” “Tethered Ship,” and “T-Style”) which Yunho has performed at previous Japanese concerts. Two other tracks previously performed in Korean — “Honey Funny Bunny” and “Santa Revolution” – will also be included but recomposed in Japanese.

With TVXQ holding their TVXQ! Special Live Tour-Tistory concert on June 13-14 in Seoul, and the solo album release in July, these are likely to be Yunho’s last activities before he enlists for Korean military service, rumored to commence later this year. Enjoy him while you can!
