He may be walking wounded, but brave Xiumin stood tall alongside his EXO bandmates at the 30th Golden Disc Awards last night, January 21.
The 25-year-old boy band star had injured his knee while filming MBC’s Idol Star Athletics in Goyang, Seoul, on January 19 when he ran into a member of an opposite team.
But despite his bruised knee and having to limp while he walked, he did everything he could to be with his EXO brothers at the ceremony, which took place at the Bay Sports Center Stadium in Shenzhen, China.
As he stood for the cameras, Xiumin winced as he dragged his leg across the stage. (Poor Kai was also nursing a small injury — he had reportedly knocked his knee during a recent ski trip).
But it was well worth the effort. EXO picked up four awards on the night including the prestigious Album of the Year title for their release, Exodus.

While on stage, Xiumin told concerned fans, “I’m doing fine… as you can tell,” before joining his bandmates for a performance of “Love Me Right” and “Sing For You.”
