CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jong Hyun braved the Singapore sun in October to complete an overseas winter fashion photo shoot for Marie Claire Korea.
Despite the high temperatures, the two band members remained professional and pulled off a number of heavy-knit sweaters, tweed jackets and long overcoats in the January issue pictorial.
Although some of the shoot took place at The Ritz Carlton Hotel, the majority of shots were taken outside by the city’s Kallang River, where the boys posed near the popular Singapore Flyer ferris wheel.
Staff at the magazine later praised them both for their professionalism and patience. But it’s all part of the job, explains guitarist and singer Lee.
“We’re used to long days and nights,” the 22-year old has said of their schedules. “It gets tiring but we’re used to it and take short sleeps where we can, in the car or if we are waiting somewhere. We would never complain.”
Proper rest won’t come for while as CNBLUE are currently preparing to release their new album (all self-written and self-composed, of course) on January 14.
It means the first part of next year will be a non-stop calendar of promotional work and performances.
