Even the pros feel the heat.
TVXQ’s Changmin has shared his worries about doing a good job on new KBS variety show, Moonlight Prince.
At a January 16 press conference in Yeoldo, Seoul, the singer revealed: “After our first filming session, I went home thinking, ‘It’s not as easy as I thought it would be.
“I couldn’t sleep well the night before because I was so worried.”
It’s the first for the 24-year-old to host on an entertainment program, but he admits being around his peers Kang Ho Dong, Tak Jae Hoon, Jung Jae Hyung and Brave Brothers, is helping ease the nerves
“I’m not trying to sugar coat this, but after seeing my seniors I feel a little less nervous. I feel like I’m depending on them. I think I can go follow in their footsteps.”
He’s also turned to close Super Junior pal, Kyuhyun, for advice.
“I told Kyuhyun, who debuted as an MC before me, about my worries over some drinks. He told me that he’s still not very good yet.
“People are going to to see what I’m lacking, so for the first 100 days I have to be prepared to receive a lot of criticisms.
“I’m just going to try my best. Maybe it will go well if I just naturally follow my seniors. I think that it will go better if I do it without worrying.”
Moonlight Prince, which will follow a book club-like format and cover serious and light-hearted topics, will premiere on January 22, taking Win Win’s former time slot.
On the first episode, which covers the subject of ‘puberty and deviation’, Changmin reveals he used to watch porn as a teenager.
“When I was in middle school, I would secretly watch porn while my parents weren’t around,” he laughed.
