2AM’s Seulong has stood up for Miss A’s Suzy, after she became the victim of online sexual harassment.
The singer, 25, took to his Twitter account today to sympathise with the label mate he recently said was like a younger sister: “Imagine if something like this happened to your family, or someone you care about.”
“Investigations will have to start in order to find the people hidden behind anonymity that target [celebrities], but I for one will not rest until everything is made right.”
On Monday, JYP Entertainment announced that the company will take legal action against an anonymous Twitter user who posted photos of a man performing an obscene act on a cardboard cutout of the miss A band member (which IdolWow! has chosen not to repost). The offending tweeter also sent a number of abusive messages, using coarse slang from the Jeolla province that Suzy was born in.
A source tells IdolWow!: “The case moves forward. It’s currently being investigated by an investigation team who are working closely with the authorities.
“Suzy has been shaken up by this, but she will not let anyone bring her down. She’s strong.”
